First Day in Rome

All in all, today was a good day... It was off to a rough start though. We arrived by plane around noon. The airport was a little hectic to get out of because they have no rhyme or reason to get on the shuttle buses. By the time we go to the city, we were a little jet-lagged, and had to walk around quite a bit with our luggage.

However, once we go to the hotel, and took a nap, all was good! We had an excellent meal, walked around a bit, and bought some delicious wine.

Tomorrow, we’ll be off to see all the ruins, like the Collesum and Pantheon, and on Monday, we’ll go to Vatican City.

Less than a week to go

Pretty soon, we will be off jet setting to Europe. It is a little bitter-sweet because Sadie is ill, and will probably have to be put to sleep before we go.

It’s getting close... Less than two months to go. I am getting a little excited. So far we have planned to go from Rome, to Tuscany area, to Venice, to Paris, and then end in Amsterdam...

I just booked our plane tickets to Europe. We take off on March 23. I am so excited; we’ve been planning this trip for over two years now.

The weekend slips away

Have you ever noticed when you’re sitting around on a weekend morning, watching TV, how the day just slips away? It’s very disheartening and tends to make the weekend just fly by. Before you know it, it’s time to go back to work. I am hoping to get out and at least practice setting up my new hammock this weeend. If I do, I’ll post some pictures...
