First Day Abroad, in Rome Saturday, March 24, 2012 All in all, today was a good day... It was off to a rough start though. We arrived by plane around noon. The airport was a little hectic to get out of because they have no rhyme or reason to get on the shuttle buses. By the time we go to the city, we were a little jet-lagged, and had to walk around quite a bit with our luggage. However, once we go to the hotel, and took a nap, all was good! We had an excellent meal, walked around a bit, and bought some delicious wine. Tomorrow, we’ll be off to see all the ruins, like the Collesum and Pantheon, and on Monday, we’ll go to Vatican City.
